BACKING OF A BRAND

Food safety

The production processes of the member farmers of the S.A.T. OLÉ! undergo in-depth technical supervision of the pesticide treatment used, irrigation or fertilization. The water, foliage and soil are checked regularly to detect any possible deficiencies of the crop. We also check the hygiene level of the vehicles thoroughly when they get back from the fields.

The information obtained about each farm is digitally obtained and recorded, so that the history of the specific crop is always available and it is also used as a basis for the product traceability system.

On arrival at the processing centre, the quality controllers carry out an in-depth inspection of the appearance of the produce.

Complying with the quality standards in all our production processes means that we can guarantee that the produce we supply is healthy, natural and top quality.

The IFS Standard (International Food Standard) is essential so that the company is accepted as a supplier of the distributors and the supermarkets in France and Germany. It first took shape in 2002 when the German Federal Union of Association and Distribution (BDH) and the French Federation of Distribution and Commerce (FDC) developed this Standard under the umbrella of the Global Food Safety Initiative. The objective is similar to the B.R.C. Global Standard: create a common standard for all the supermarket suppliers.

GlobalGAP is a group of internationally approved standards on the Good Agricultural Practices for agriculture, aquaculture, livestock production (GAP). For consumers and distributors, the GlobalGAP certificate is a guarantee that the produce complies with the quality and safety levels established and they have been drawn up in line with sustainability standards, respecting the safety, hygiene and well-being of the workers, the environment and also animals.
