Pasta nests with artichokes and pine kernels

 Very easy

Ingredients:

  • Spoonfuls of chopped onion
  • 2 spoonfuls of butter (divided quantity)
  • 1 spoonful of flour
  • ¼ cup of milk
  • 1 packet of cheese
  • 1 tin of sweet corn
  • 12 crackers
  • 2 packets of frozen broccoli stems

Preparation:

Heat the oven to 350º.

Fry the chopped onion and a spoonful of butter in a frying pan on medium heat for a minute.

Add and mix in the flour.

Gradually add the milk and cook, stirring it for two or three minutes or until it thickens.

Add the cheese and continue to cook for two or three minutes or until it melts, stirring constantly.

Add the sweet corn and a quarter of a cup of crushed crackers.

Put the broccoli in an oven dish and pour the sauce on top.

Melt the rest of the butter, mix it with the left over cracker crumbs and sprinkle this mixture over the sauce.

Bake the casserole for 30 minutes or until it is piping hot.
